Audi continues their partnership with heptathlete Nafi Thiam

In 2016, Audi’s engaged in a partnership with heptathlete Nafi Thiam. With the Olympics of 2020 in Tokio in mind, Audi and Nafi decided to prolong their collaboration for another three years.

After achieving European gold as a junior, Nafi made a rapid rise from a promising junior to one of the world’s best.With her medals on the European indoor and outdoor championships, Thiam became the youngest athlete in Belgian history to have won a medal at the European championships.To top it all, in the summer of 2016 she was crowned

Olympic heptathlon champion in Rio de Janeiro. Earlier this year, Nafi added another gold medal when she became European indoor champion in the pentathlon in Belgrade.

With it’s high performance and lean look, the Audi Q2 is the perfect fit for the world class athlete’s day-to-day needs.

 

The 22 year old Nafi is very fond of the collaboration: “Combining sports on a high level and my studies can be challenging. With the support of Audi, I can fully concentrate on what matters and pleasantly get through a busy day.”
