Following several months of solid winter training and a successful warm-weather training camp in South-Africa, the defending Olympic champion decided to line up at the national indoor championships to test herself against some of the country’s best hurdlers. Nafi ran 8.37 in the heats and lowered that to 8.34 in the final, her second best effort of her career to date.

Nafi has one more indoor competition on her calendar, on Sunday 1st March she will travel to Liévin, France to compete in the long jump at the French national indoor championships.
