Nafi has established herself as the patroness of the heptathlon at the Eugene World Championships. The 27-year-old Belgian, a two-time reigning Olympic champion, reclaimed a title she won in 2017 before settling for silver in 2019. Nafi totaled 6947 points, ahead of the Dutch Anouk Vetter (6867) and the American Anna Hall (6755).
With a new PB in the hurdles (13.21) and a new PB in the 800m (2:13.00) Nafi achieves the second best total of her career after her record of 7013 which she scored in 2017.
