NewsAfter claiming the gold at the 2013 European Junior Championships in the heptathlon, Nafi Thiam added European U23 high jump silver to her continental accolades.
The European indoor silver medalist in the pentathlon had first-attempt clearances at 1m81, 1m84 and 1m87 but then missed three times at 1m90. The gold medal went to Italy’s title defender Alessia Trost (1m90) with the bronze going to Ukrainian Iryna Herashchenko (1m87).
